This plate shows how to compose the intercolumniation (i.e. the spacing between columns in a colonnade) of the Corinthian Order applying engaged columns with pedestals onto arches. All the details and the measures are rendered through elevation, plan and soffit (i.e. view of the underside of the entablature and the capital, sectioning the upper part of the column’s shaft).
